In the midst of remembering what happened to him, Nash sees Phantom Bison and hobbles out to attack. Jolting awake from a nightmare of Necalli trying to devour him, Nash finds himself in a tomb being tended to by a woman called Helen. "One of the Black Moons in the sky explodes above New York City, ominously healding the start of the evil Shadaloo's Operation C.H.A.I.N.S." Title The plot takes place in between the events of the Street Fighter IV series and the Street Fighter III series. Finishing A Shadow Falls in normal and extra mode granted players 30,000 and 50,000 fight money respectively, before the release of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The mode can take three to four hours to finish and it comes in two difficulty levels, "Normal" and "Extra".
A Shadow Falls is a cinematic story mode that was released in June 2016 as a free downloadable content for Street Fighter V.
